Lead qualification
As a conversation unfolds, the assistant works out how ready a student is to move forward and gives them a temperature. This is what lets your counsellors spend their time on the right people.
The three temperatures
- Hot
- Ready to act now. Clear destination and course, a realistic timeline, budget in range, and often documents or test scores already in hand. Call these today.
- Warm
- Genuinely interested but not there yet — still deciding on a country, waiting on an exam, or planning for a later intake. Nurture with follow-ups.
- Cold
- Early-stage, just browsing, outside your countries, or unlikely to proceed. Keep the door open, but do not prioritise.
You will see these as coloured badges — green for hot, orange for warm, grey for cold — in the Inbox, on Leads, and in the analytics.
What the AI considers
- How specific the student is about country and course
- Their timeline — this intake, next intake, “someday”
- Budget and funding readiness
- English test status (taken, booked, not started)
- Whether required documents exist
- How engaged they are — quick, detailed replies versus one-word answers
The temperature is not fixed. As the student shares more, it is re-assessed and can move up or down.
What to do with each
- A new hot lead
- Assign a counsellor immediately and make contact the same day. Speed is the biggest factor in whether a hot lead enrols.
- A warm lead
- Put it on a follow-up cadence. The Followups screen exists for exactly this.
- A cold lead
- Leave it to the AI. It will keep the relationship warm and flag you if the student heats up.
Qualification can be part of your plan
Whether the AI performs lead qualification depends on your plan and feature access. If you expect temperatures and are not seeing them, check with Support.
