Channels & control

Integrations

Where you connect the places students message you from. Each connected channel becomes a source of conversations in the Inbox.

The channels

WhatsApp Business
The channel most Bangladeshi students prefer. Connected through Meta. Supports a shared-number “coexistence” mode.
Facebook Messenger
Messages sent to your Facebook Page. Quick to connect — you choose which Page the agent should answer for.
Website Widget
A chat bubble you embed on your own website. You set the assistant’s display name, its greeting, and which domains may load it.

Slack, Telegram and email are listed as coming soon.

Connecting Facebook Messenger

  1. Start the connection

Click connect on the Messenger card and sign in to Facebook.
  2. Choose a Page

Pick the Facebook Page you want the agent to handle messages for.
  3. Confirm

The channel goes live. New messages to that Page now appear in your Inbox.

You can also let the agent reply to comments on that Page’s posts, controlled by a per-Page toggle.

Connecting the website widget

  1. Configure it

Set the assistant name (e.g. “Support Assistant”), the opening greeting, and the list of domains allowed to show the widget.
  2. Add it to your site

Paste the provided snippet into your website. Your web developer will know where it goes.
  3. Test

Open your site and send a message — it should land in the Inbox on the Website channel.

Connecting WhatsApp

WhatsApp runs through Meta and involves a verification step, so allow a little extra time. Two setups are possible:

  • Dedicated number — a number used only by the AI.
  • Coexistence — the AI shares your existing WhatsApp Business number. You keep replying from the WhatsApp app on your phone; the AI reads those replies, pauses while you are handling a chat, and picks back up when you stop.

Coexistence numbers are special

If your number is set up as coexistence, do not attempt to “register” it separately in WhatsApp — that breaks the shared setup. When in doubt, ask Support.

Channel health

Connected channels show their status. If Meta flags or restricts a WhatsApp number, or an access token expires, you will see a warning here (and a “reconnect” prompt). Reconnect promptly — while a channel is unhealthy the AI cannot reply on it.

To message a student on WhatsApp more than 24 hours after their last message, you need a pre-approved template. Manage those on the WhatsApp Templates screen.
