AI Control
The master switch for automation. Turn the assistant on or off, and decide the hours it is allowed to answer students.
On / off
Each agent has a simple toggle. Off means the AI stops replying immediately — new messages still arrive in the Inbox for your team to answer by hand, but nothing is sent automatically. On resumes normal operation.
Active-hours schedule
Set a start time and an end time (shown in Bangladesh time, with a live clock for reference). Outside those hours the AI does not reply. Common patterns:
- Around the clock — no schedule; the AI always answers.
- After hours only — the AI covers evenings and nights, your team covers the working day.
- Working hours only — the AI assists during the day, silent overnight.
AI Status Change Log
Every on/off change is recorded — what changed, who changed it, and when. Useful when a teammate switched something and you want to know who and why.
Pausing for one student only
AI Control is agency-wide (per agent). To silence the AI for a single conversation — because a counsellor has taken it over — you do not use this screen; that happens automatically on handover, or from the conversation itself. See Human handover.
